Go Far!

Just a quick post on what bike I have been riding this spring. Yes, I have two titanium wonder bikes but the one that has me smitten right now is my good ol’ Salsa Fargo. Some readers know this, but I had a hand in bringing this bike to life. Every time I ride it, I think of all the people it brought into my life and all the rich experiences I had with it. Many of my closest friends came into my life through this rig. So, yeah, it’s something special to me.

On the bike, I rebuilt it last year. My goal was to modernize the components and put this rig back in my regular rotation of bikes I ride. It continues to kinda amaze me and other than a few spec details like QR axles vs thru axles, feels and performs as if it were just a recently released bike model. I am close to doing a full build spec with photos. Close. It isn’t perfect yet. Before I do that, though, I have a few more tweaks and changes to make. It’s close though and here’s a quick side shot of the current state.
